An old, worn Marlboro Red pack, crushed and softened from being carried around a little too long.
This piece was first sketched in graphite, then built up with Prismacolor pencils to bring out the faded reds, worn edges, creases, and little imperfections that make an old pack feel like an old story. I wanted to keep the texture and character of something that’s been handled, tossed around, and lived with — not perfectly preserved.
